WHY CHANGE IS NECESSARY!
TIPS TO TAKE YOU TO THE TOP
Change involves a multitude of factors & we will start with these definitions:
OPTIONS - Full range of possibilities. We talked about options in Elevator 12.
DECISION MAKING -
Ability to discern all options, select an option for action & implement the action in a timely manner.
SOLUTIONS - Course of action selected from all options that does not create equal or greater problems.
The CONCEPT is that: SOLUTIONS are created through ones ACTIONS.
The TECHNIQUE is to: LOOK at ALL options
SELECT an option
ACT upon the option
EVALUATE the outcome
REPEAT process until the outcome is positive
Positive Outcome = Solution
The solution may not be: what one wants, ideal or easy; or may be only a partial solution.
When a chosen action places us in a position more positive than one we began in it is a solution.
CHANGE - To make or be different.
Did you eat today the exact same foods that you ate yesterday?
Will you wear the same clothes tomorrow that you are wearing today & a 3rd day & a 4th?
CHANGE is not an enemy. We must learn to embrace it as an ally.
