      you're in the Twilight Zone.

(small, very small joke about that wonderful t.v. show)

In our real world

when you press the up button it goes up.

When you press the down button

the elevator & you go down.

How many times have you reacted to something someone has said or done

and then you've said "that makes me so mad or sad"?

Or "you make me so happy".

That's so wrong.

This week's CONCEPT:

You are not an elevator.

No matter what buttons other people push you

ALWAYS

have the ability to choose the direction you will go;

the way you will feel.

It's never that someone else makes us feel an emotion.

We take what they say or do & allow ourselves to feel that emotion.

So take control

(we'll discuss control in a later Elevator segment)

and choose your direction, your reaction, your emotion.

An Elevator has no choice in the direction it will go.

YOU DO, SO CHOOSE!

My work is done for this week.

Do you like what you're learning here.

I'm choosing to step off on this floor now.

I'll choose to step back on Thursday next week.
